Red plexiglass panel inserts add interest to the deck handrail, and tie into the color of the existing patio brick border edging.

George Bernard Shaw	(ABOVE) Michael Hawker observes the construction of the dam for a 5-acre lake installed at a 45-acre retreat estate south of Rosebud, Missouri. Planned for 2005-06 is a lakeside Pavilion, a Woodland Terrace Deck, a boat dock, and a private Cottage. (LEFT) A few months after completion (June, 2004) the lake has filled. The Pavilion, Deck, and Dock site to the left, and the cottage cabin is planned in the surrounding woods.
Recently completed in 2004, this home was completely gutted and redesigned, and features stained glass windows crafted by Michael Hawker.	A new deck with an integral planter box that is shaped from the overall geometry of the deck. With a bit of creativity we design features that fit together to produce a wholistic design.
